Bandido, the revered AEW wrestler, has had a prolonged absence from the AEW circle due to the need to undergo two surgical procedures to remedy a wrist fracture he suffered last year.
It was initially determined that Bandido was grappling with a complex injury to the triangular fibrocartilage after diagnostic assessments. He sought further medical advice the next month, just as he was seemingly on the brink of a wrestling comeback.
However, Bandido’s anticipated comeback was put on hold due to the incomplete healing process of the injury, necessitating a second surgical procedure.
The comeback of Bandido was initially projected to occur in April. However, the timetable has now been extended beyond the initial prediction.
The reputed Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that “Bandido still hasn’t been cleared, but he should be soon.“
