The current year’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view occasion took place featuring a series of title turnovers and the highly awaited comeback of Roman Reigns.

WWE has formally proclaimed that SummerSlam 2026 is set to unfold as a two-night event, scheduled for August 1 and 2, taking place at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This dual-night format is conjectured to be a model for subsequent SummerSlam years beyond 2026.

In the style of WrestleMania’s two-night structure, which commenced in 2020 with WrestleMania 36, speculations have been conducted about transforming the upcoming year’s SummerSlam into a two-night spectacle.

The WWE’s Chief Creative Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, voiced his endorsement for this concept during the post-SummerSlam press interaction.

As per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, earlier projections had been made regarding SummerSlam transitioning to a two-day model commencing in 2026. Upon inquiring about SummerSlam 2025, and if it would be a two-night event, WWE’s response was “Watch this space.”

Concurrently, an alternative WWE insider indicated that it’s “highly probable” that SummerSlam 2025 would span two days.

WWE has not yet disclosed the date and venue for SummerSlam 2025.
