A rundown of producers and other backstage information from the recent WWE SmackDown TV tapings emerged this week. The highlights include:

Shane Helms was the orchestrator behind the triple-threat match between Bayley, B-Fab, and Candice LeRae.

Interestingly, women from the RAW division have not been included in the US title tournament. The reasoning has not been disclosed yet.

Jamie Noble wore two producing hats for this event. He managed the wrestling action between LA Knight and Berto and also supervised The Bloodline segments. Michael Kirshenbaum and Colin Clark are the creative minds behind the scripts for The Bloodline’s promo.

Shinsuke Nakamura made a comeback, which has been in the pipeline for several weeks. His name, however, did not feature on the in-house lists.

The match pitting The Motor City Machine Guns against The Street Profits was guided by the experienced hand of Bobby Roode.

Petey Williams took on production duties for the face-off between Naomi and Nia Jax.

Nick Aldis had a busy night, producing not one but three dark matches. These included Braun Strowman vs. Carlito, LWO vs. The Judgment Day, and Apollo Crews vs. Giovanni Vinci. To add to his list, he also directed the match between Andrade and Dragon Lee for WWE Speed.

The stirring promo from Cody Rhodes was penned by Chad Barbash.
