This week on WWE RAW, Asuka defended the WWE RAW Women’s Championship against Zelina Vega. Asuka successfully defended the title against Vega at WWE Clash of Champions. Vega attacked after the bell to set up this rematch. She took the fight to the champion and targeted Asuka’s arm. Vega put her in a grounded Octopus lock and took control of the match. The challenger slapped Asuka in the face, but the disrespect fired Asuka up. She hit a series of strikes and a German suplex.

Asuka went for her signature submission, but Vega escaped. Vega dropped Asuka with a backstabber, but Asuka reached the ropes. The champion countered a moonsault and made Vega tap to the Asuka Lock to win the match and retain her title.
