Arrest Made Of Driver That Killed Matt Travis, Amazing Red Responds
An arrest has been made in the death of indie wrestler Matt Travis per ABC 7 NY.
Police have charged 48-year-old Luc Vu with reckless driving, failure to yield to a bicyclist, failure to obey a traffic device, drive left of pavement marking and failure to exercise due care. Notably absent is a manslaughter charge. Travis (real name Matthew Palacios) was struck by Vu’s vehicle around 3 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9. Vu left the scene of the crime and didn’t call for help, it’s unknown if he knew that he struck a cyclist. Travis, 25, was later found on the road and rushed to Harlem Hospital, but was sadly pronounced dead.
Indie star Amazing Red chimed in on the arrest and thanked everyone that helped to track down the reckless driver.
