The latest episode of AEW Dynamite recorded a surge in both viewership and ratings, marking its best metrics in the past two months.

With 790,000 viewers, AEW Dynamite achieved a rating of 0.28 (363,000 viewers) in the key 18-49 age bracket, and a 0.20 rating in the 18-34 demographic. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter offered detailed insight into the rating breakdown for each quarter.

The dwindling 18-34 demographic saw a significant bounce back. Especially promising was MJF’s return (0.22 rating) and the BCC vs. CMLL showdown (0.24 rating), both of which contributed to its highest demographic number since April 10.

AEW Dynamite topped its time slot, despite coming second in overall nighttime rankings. Overshadowing the event was ESPN’s College Softball World Series game 1 between Texas and Oklahoma, which pulled in 1,911,000 viewers and a 0.44 rating. Moreover, this was the highest viewership for a game in College Softball World Series History, and the most watched college softball game in the last three years.

A week-on-week comparison shows that viewership for AEW Dynamite rose by 0.4%, while viewership in the 18-49 demographic increased by 8.4%, and soared by 23.2% in the 18-34 demographic.
