WWE/Impact Hall of Famer Bully Ray believes that Charlotte Flair could benefit more than anybody else from Ric Flair signing with AEW.

The Nature Boy signed with AEW last month, two years after plans to bring him in were nixed due to the backlash from Dark Side of the Ring’s ‘Plane Ride from Hell‘ episode.

During “Busted Open Radio,” Bully suggested that WWE may want to distance themselves from Ric by having Charlotte eclipse his 16 World Championship reigns. He said,

You know who this actually benefits?” Bully asked. “Charlotte [Flair]. Daddy’s shadow’s not around right now for the next few years.

“The WWE’s gonna go, ‘We stood by you. We never put anyone else in a position to break your record, but now you’ve decided to take your talents elsewhere. To a company that has created a little bit of a problem for the WWE, now maybe one of our guys needs to become the GOAT of all GOATS and the most decorated world champion of all time.”

Charlotte is classed as a 14-time champion, with six RAW Women’s title reigns, seven SmackDown Women’s title reigns, and one run as a WWE Divas Champion.

Charlotte’s most recent title reign came to an end at WrestleMania 39 where she lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship (now the Women’s World Title) to Rhea Ripley.

WWE/Impact Hall of Famer Bully Ray believes that Charlotte Flair could benefit greatly from her father, Ric Flair, signing with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Ric Flair recently joined AEW, two years after plans to bring him in were canceled due to the backlash from Dark Side of the Ring’s ‘Plane Ride from Hell’ episode.

During an episode of “Busted Open Radio,” Bully Ray suggested that WWE may want to distance themselves from Ric Flair by having Charlotte surpass his record of 16 World Championship reigns. Bully Ray stated, “You know who this actually benefits? Charlotte [Flair]. Daddy’s shadow’s not around right now for the next few years.”

He further explained, “The WWE’s gonna go, ‘We stood by you. We never put anyone else in a position to break your record, but now you’ve decided to take your talents elsewhere. To a company that has created a little bit of a problem for the WWE, now maybe one of our guys needs to become the GOAT of all GOATS and the most decorated world champion of all time.'”

Currently, Charlotte Flair is recognized as a 14-time champion in WWE. She has held the RAW Women’s title six times, the SmackDown Women’s title seven times, and the WWE Divas Championship once.

Charlotte’s most recent title reign came to an end at WrestleMania 39, where she lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship (now known as the Women’s World Title) to Rhea Ripley.

With Ric Flair’s absence from WWE and his presence in AEW, there is an opportunity for Charlotte Flair to establish herself as the top female wrestler in WWE history. The company may choose to push her as the “GOAT” (Greatest of All Time) and the most decorated world champion of all time, surpassing her father’s record.

It will be interesting to see how WWE handles Charlotte Flair’s character and storylines moving forward. This could be a significant turning point in her career, allowing her to shine even brighter without the shadow of her father’s legacy.
