On a recent Friday, a group of AEW wrestlers including The Righteous, Mark Briscoe, Cash Wheeler, Taya Valkyrie, Rachael Ellering, Bobby Cruise, AEW Producer Chris Hero, and Isaiah Kassidy, have taken a trip to the International Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in Albany, New York. The visit was reported by Pwinsider and took place during the AEW’s taping of Collision at the MVP Arena.
Meanwhile, The National Wrestling Alliance is moving forward with its expansion by adding a new area into its territories. The addition, NWA Texas, was announced by the company on a Sunday.

The Enterprise Expansion Goes On!
NWA Texas is officially announced today by the National Wrestling Alliance. This governing body will bring together different wrestling promotions across The Lone Star State under the NWA banner, making NWA Texas, the sixth known NWA territory.
On 16th of November, Joe Galli, the NWA Chief Operating Officer, officially endorsed Dogg Pound Championship Wrestling as the first regional promotion to join NWA Texas. This San Antonio-based DPCW, owned by celebrated couple Rodney Mack and Jazz, was established in September 2021 and has quickly become a keystone in Texas wrestling.
Jazz, the longest-serving NWA Women’s World champion in history, expresses great honor to officially be part of the National Wrestling Alliance.
She goes on to state, “Our talent pool has no match, not only in Texas but also across the country. This is a wonderful chance to bring the Dogg Pound Championship Wrestling and our incredibly talented team to the national forefront.”
While DPCW is the first promotion to fall under NWA Texas governance, it is expected that more will join the file in the coming months. Bryan Idol, NWA National Promoter, has stated that once the membership organizations are finalised, new titles specific to the territory will be introduced.
He comments, “Texas is an immense state, boasting numerous outstanding promotions with fantastic athletes and champions. The formation of NWA Texas will allow the National Wrestling Alliance to unify these companies. Eventually, their respective talents will compete for officially-endorsed NWA Texas titles.”
NWA-World League Wrestling was announced exactly a fortnight before the launch of NWA Texas. It became the fifth official National Wrestling Alliance territory on November 2, a quarter-century after it was founded by NWA legend Harley Race.
Idol shares, “Gradually, one region at a time, we’re restoring the legendary territory system that characterized the NWA for so long. Now, whether fans are in Chicago, Cleveland, Tennessee, Missouri or Texas, they can experience the powerful pro wrestling action of the NWA live. It’s a thrilling time for both the National Wrestling Alliance and its fans.”
On January 11, 2025, the National Wrestling Alliance will bring NWA Shockwave to The OC Theatre in Forney, TX, electrifying the Greater Dallas Area. This new Signature Live Event will feature the stars of the National Wrestling Alliance, NWA Texas, and more. The event will be filmed for a later broadcast on the popular NWA Powerrr show.
