On Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage, Kris Statlander defeated Jade Cargill to retain the TBS Championship in what was reportedly the latter’s final match for Tony Khan’s company.
Statlander and Cargill went back and forth while “Smart” Mark Sterling attempted to get involved in the title match. Sterling’s efforts backfired on Cargill and Statlander scored the victory to retain the TBS Championship.
Following the match, Cargill raised Statlander’s arm and the two hugged in the ring.
Statlander’s reign stands at 111 days, having won the title from The Baddies leader at AEW Double or Nothing 2023.
This was Cargill’s last AEW match as she is reportedly headed to WWE.
