On the “My Mom’s Basement” podcast, Kevin Owens made a recent guest appearance and expressed his desire for a live band to play his entrance music at WrestleMania. He shared a story of his initial WrestleMania where he proposed to Vince McMahon about having a live band and his plan to destroy their instruments as a way of reclaiming the spotlight from them. However, his idea was rejected as it didn’t quite make sense to McMahon.
He recalled another instance at WrestleMania 39 in LA when he and Sami Zayn realized that their entrances lacked the grandeur that the other wrestlers had. They suggested to Triple H that they could perhaps make their entry from the crowd. However, the idea was turned down as they were told that they didn’t need any fancy entrances due to their gritty personas.
Kevin Owens is hopeful for a grander entrance someday. He also discussed missing WrestleMania and his neck surgery, a topic that you can watch in the video below.
In related news, Kofi Kingston celebrated the anniversary of his WWE title win by sharing a tweet on his social media. Surprisingly, he left out Big E in the photo. His message expressed pride in their historic win and their opportunity, six years later, to solidify their status as the greatest tag team in history.
