On Tuesday, news outlets began reporting that John Cena was set to receive a lifetime achievement award at a special WrestleMania week lunch event exclusive to On Location. However, it has been clarified that while attendees can look forward to a limited-time luncheon with Cena via On Location’s exclusive package, the event will not feature the presentation of a lifetime achievement award.
Cena, an esteemed WWE World Champion with 16 championship victories under his belt, has indeed created a legacy that warrants a lifetime award. But according to Fightful Select, there has been no formal announcement for Cena receiving such a prestigious honour. The initial misunderstanding seems to have stemmed from the promotional specifics of the On Location’s hospitality treatments during the WrestleMania week.
While Cena’s involvement in the WrestleMania week festivities is a major selling point, it will not encompass a lifetime achievement award.
saw these posted somewhere else originally but holy crap, anyone actually putting down this kind of cash really should reconsider. #WrestleMania pic.twitter.com/gjsgI6HApu
