In a recent episode of his “Kliq This” podcast, wrestling star Kevin Nash shared his views concerning WWE’s rising popularity. He attributed this renewed interest among fans to Endeavor’s involvement.
Contrary to some opinions, Nash negated the idea that the recent scandal drew fans back to WWE.
Nash expressed, “Nah. I think that’s a very ‘I live in the wrestling bubble’ view of the world. I’m sorry man, it’s very difficult, I did it for thirty years, it’s very difficult for me to watch professional wrestling. Somebody dumping on somebody, that’s the news headline and that makes me watch; it’s not going to draw me to becoming somebody that watches it on a weekly basis. I believe the fact that Endeavor entered the scene played a major role. It felt like it was time for someone other than Vince to take the reigns of the company. In my opinion, Endeavor wanted to bring a fresh perspective. It’s like NASCAR. If a member of the France family is suddenly faced with a potent accusation, it won’t really motivate me to watch NASCAR. As much as everyone knows what pro wrestling is, they also know what NASCAR is.”
In other wrestling news, a Facebook update has revealed that ex-WWE and WCCW fighter, Black Bart, has decided to halt his chemotherapy treatment for stage four colon cancer that has metastasized to his liver.
The update stated: “Bart was brought home today, he still isn’t able to walk but he isn’t making progress in the rehab so the insurance will not continue to pay for him. He has expressed that he doesn’t want any more chemo, he feels that it’s doing more harm than good and I fully support his decision. He doesn’t feel that he has given up; rather, he’s refusing to put any more toxins in his body. His fate rests completely in God’s hands now. May God’s will be done.”
While there has been speculation that Black Bart has passed away, these rumors are inaccurate. Sending positive thoughts and best wishes to Black Bart and his loved ones, from eWn.
