Pro Wrestling performer Josh Woods, who has marked his place in AEW and Ring of Honor, is all set to step into the universe of Bloodsport for the first time. His debut will occur as a part of the much-anticipated Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XI this month.
Josh Barnett, himself, expressed his excitement over Woods’ entry into Bloodsport on his Twitter handle. He tagged Woods as the “fresh talent” entering the Bloodsport ring and showered praises on his previous trysts with amateur wrestling and MMA.
His tweet read, “More fresh talent for the Bloodsport ring. A seasoned amateur wrestler who has also been involved with numerous MMA training camps has been aiming for Bloodsport for a while. Fact is, we’ve also been tracking his talent and it’s a joy to welcome him into the ring. Now it’s…”
Woods, a pivotal wrestling talent, was once under a contract with WWE from 2014 to 2016. Following that spell, he showcased his skills in ROH, where he was crowned the Pure Champion. He made a breakthrough in AEW with his debut in December 2021.
Furthermore, Bloodsport XI is going to be a star-studded event. It’s likely to feature WWE Superstar Shayna Baszler and Monday Night RAW’s tag-team champions The Creed Brothers, alongside Woods.
