In a fresh conversation with Adrian Hernandez prior to the AEW Double Or Nothing 2024 pay-per-view happening, Will Ospreay shared insights on his decision to join AEW.
Ospreay emerged victorious over Roderick Strong, clinching the International Title at the event the previous weekend.
Some key takeaways from the interview are mentioned below:
When queried about his decision to join AEW, Ospreay stated, “I am astounded; I’m utterly taken aback by it. Realizing that all this is coming to pass? I’m just tremendously grateful, It’s hard to believe the level of support I’ve received so far, and it’s undoubtedly a privilege to be a part of this system.”
Regarding his motivation to choose AEW, Ospreay added, “My primary concern was, ‘What’s going to be beneficial for me and what is the best option for my family.’ I was certain of the answer, but you have to take into consideration all perspectives, because uncertainties exist. I can’t overemphasize how content I am that I’m now part of AEW and how honored I am to be integrated into this system and to share the locker room with my teammates.”
