In a recent conversation with Liam Crowley from ComicBook.com, Billy Corgan expressed his thoughts on the potential for a collaboration between the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and WWE NXT.
The NWA’s Powerrr series is currently viewable on The CW app, while NXT is scheduled to transfer to the CW’s terrestrial TV network soon. Upon discussing these developments, Corgan stated,
“I would love that. With NXT transitioning over to The CW, we respect that. WWE is a vast, multinational corporation. Lately, they have been casting a wider net and collaborating with some independent entities. They’ve recently cooperated with TNA. I’m very open to the idea of working with WWE, but it’s not like we’re passively waiting for a call. Nevertheless, I would be thrilled to partner with them.”
Corgan further elaborated, “Over the years, I’ve had several interactions with WWE, both before my wrestling career and now that I’m involved in the sport. Their behaviour towards me has been nothing short of excellent. I literally have no complaints about them. They epitomise professionalism how they deal with individuals like me. My interaction with them has been overwhelmingly positive. I hold nothing but admiration for them.”
