In an exciting main event match on Monday Night RAW, Jey Uso squared off against former NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov. Uso is optimistic that this thrilling encounter won’t be their last meeting inside the WWE ring.
The high-stakes match was part of the King of the Ring tournament’s quarter-finals. Both Uso and Dragunov previously claimed victories over Finn Balor and Ricochet, paving the way for this facedown. In a turn of events, Uso managed to conquer ‘The Mad Dragon’ and secure his victory.
In a captivating RAW “Digital Exclusive” segment, Jey discussed his match against Dragunov. Remaining true to his boastful persona, he stated,
“Big-ups to the new kid on the block, Ilja ‘The Dragon’. I saw you in top form, Uce. You brought the heat, but I had to bring you down a peg. Apologies, but welcome to my turf – Mon-Jey Night Raw, Uce. You gave a good fight, no doubt about that. Our paths will cross again, for sure. YEET.”
With his victory over Dragunov, Uso is set to face GUNTHER in his upcoming tournament match. This eagerly anticipated clash promises to be thrilling as the winner will proceed to the final round at WWE’s prestigious event, King And Queen Of The Ring, in Jeddah.
