William Shatner is always watching and an up-and-coming NXT tag team found out that the impending WWE Hall of Famer was doing that to one of their Twitter videos.
Ever Rise released their latest edition of “Ever Rise Live” for fans as both Matt Martel and Chase Parker previewed the upcoming NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. The two long-time Quebec-born buddies touched upon the two-day event as well as commented as to NXT making the move to Tuesdays on April 13. They also kicked the show off by criticizing how the United States has Canadian bacon, which is just ham to Parker and Martel. Fellow Canadian in Shatner happened to give the duo on advice as to how to pre-game for future broadcasts of “Ever Live Rise.”
“I’d suggest you replace the coffee with decaf next time,” Shatner playfully Tweeted.

There could be a moment in which Parker and Martel happen to cross paths with Captain Kirk as Ever Live did announce that their show is heading to WrestleMania 37, meaning the odds of a guest appearance by the acting legend remains in the cards. It was announced earlier this week that Shatner will indeed be inducted as a member of the 2020 class this year even Jerry Lawler, this year’s host, teased at the idea of being the man to induct William into the celebrity wing. It was Shatner who inducted Jerry into the Hall 14 years ago.
Will I return the favor next week on @peacockTV ? https://t.co/l5UVTgHeFB
