Zoey Stark “Broke Down” After Being Drafted To Monday Night RAW

Zoey Stark’s move to the main roster proved to be an emotional time for the ally of WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.

Stark was called up from NXT to Monday Night RAW as part of this year’s WWE Draft and has been one of the most regularly featured NXT call-ups.

Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Stark recalled her reaction to being moved to the red brand. She said,

“I broke down, really. There is a video out there where I try to hold back my tears but it is so hard. I did a great job when they called my name, then Apollo (Crews) hugged me and I was like ‘Alright, here comes the waterworks’. I hate crying, I hate it. But sometimes you just can’t hold it back, especially when it is a passion.”

On this week’s RAW, Stark faced Becky Lynch in a Falls Count Anywhere match but lost to ‘The Man’ in the show’s main event.
