Joe Hendry recently expressed his interest in having the Gallus wrestling group venture into TNA Wrestling.
In a recent interaction with ComicBook Nation, Hendry was asked about the predicament of facing the WWE stable on Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT. He declared,
“Without a doubt, I’ve been a solo warrior throughout my career. I can’t remember the times I’ve had the chance to join groups and factions and believe me, it’s been not more than once. I’ve been involved in quirky duo tags, albeit occasionally, but largely, I’ve always been independent. However, this does put me in tight spots where I do end up facing factions like Gallus, in lopsided three-on-one situations; maybe it’s time to reassess this approach.”
Hendry then added, “It ought to be said that we’re living through a wrestling era where the unforeseen is norm. Frankly, nothing will surprise me anymore. Therefore, I’ll step into the ring knowing perfectly well, the potential threat of Gallus ambushing me. In the realm of pro wrestling… literally, anything, or indeed anyone could pop up; you just can’t predict. All we can do is to stay tuned and see how events unfold. Let’s not forget that there exists a synergy between TNA and NXT. So it’s anybody’s guess if Gallus decides to engage me on my home turf. Maybe I’ve got reinforcements there. You just can’t be sure. And that is the beauty of all this. Wrestling is at its zenith when it’s unpredictable.”
In other news, Zilla Fatu admitted that he is clueless about the return of Roman Reigns to WWE, as he has a penchant for being secretive.
While spectators have started guessing that Reigns may make a comeback at SummerSlam 2024, Fatu pleaded ignorance about it, stating,
“I have no inkling, as he doesn’t share his plans with anyone. At the present moment, he’s extremely unpredictable. But all I can say is that when he does decide to return, it’s going to be explosive.”
