In an enlightening statement, Zelina Vega confirms how instrumental Malakai Black and Rey Mysterio have been to her evolution from a manager to a full-fledged wrestler.
During a recent episode of the popular “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Vega, who is a member of the LWO, shed light on the invaluable advice she obtained from both Black and Mysterio and elaborated on the various ways they have guided her journey.
Here are the select excerpts from that podcast:
When asked about Black’s guidance, Vega said, “His talent in dissecting every minute detail is immense. I appreciate a candid critique of my performance, pointing out what I am executing correctly and areas where I falter. His constant feedback has contributed significantly to my growth.”
Touched upon Rey Mysterio’s mentorship, she admitted, “I was hesitant to perform the 619. Rey Mysterio spent numerous hours with me, both at live events and pre-show practice, which boosted my confidence. Now, I am prepared to showcase my abilities.”
