During the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay showed an appreciation for the young admirer who, under his guidance, was able to land a few punches on MJF in the midst of their near-one-hour-long clash.
The monumental 250th AEW Dynamite episode was highlighted by the intense fight between Ospreay and MJF for the International Championship. At a certain point in their match, a skirmish broke out among the spectators.
In the course of the fight, a youthful follower by the name of Mia managed to land some hits on MJF while Ospreay was holding him back. The vengeful ‘Scumbag’ retaliated by flipping her off.
Local news station, ABC News 7, recently had a chance to speak with Mia and her father about the viral incident. During the discussion, it was revealed that Ospreay had a surprise for his unexpected comrade. “Will Ospreay, the hero at that time, as you can see, he gave her one of his shirts and she’s wearing it”, said Mia’s father.
Though MJF emerged as the victor of the match and won the AEW International Championship after battling for 59:58 using his Dynamite Diamond Ring, it was still a notable event.
Since winning the title at AEW’s Double or Nothing event in 2024, Ospreay had been the reigning champion. This was the same night MJF made his comeback from his recent absence.
