Young Bucks On Changing With The Times, Struggling To Be Different

Appearing on Busted Open Radio this week as part of a tour promoting their new book, new AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks spoke with Tommy Dreamer and David LaGreca about how they initially made a name for themselves in the business and whether they need to change with the times.

Matt and Nick emulated themselves on The Rockers and The Hardy Boyz, both in their high-flying style and their neon outfits. In an age where the early days of ROH were heavily influencing the indie scene, The Bucks stood out, which made it easy to get to their current position in the wrestling world. As many of the top stars on the indies now deploy a similar high-flying style, they wonder if the time is right to change up what they’ve always done and try to remake the business yet again.
