WZ Roundup: WWE Doesn’t Throw In The Towel, Tegan Nox Wants Answers, The New Day Makes A Difference

The WWE on FOX account had a little fun last night when poking fun at AEW’s World Championship match at Full Gear. Dominick Mysterio feigned throwing in the towel during his Dad’s title match against Brock Lesnar… but they don’t do that in WWE!

One NXT star that didn’t have a great weekend was Tegan Nox, who was attacked by Dakota Kai during the Women’s WarGames match on Saturday night. Nox posted the following remarks after her ‘friend’ turned on her during the match:

I’m ok. Really banged up and I need some time to heal, both mentally & physically. Honestly, what happened hurt me more emotionally than it did physically. It’s always worse when it’s someone you love and class as family. I’m still not 100% sure why, but I’ll get my answers!

Another apparel choice being discussed last night was Rey Mysterio’s ring gear, who channeled the Joker for a second time in WWE. Mysterio was inspired by Heath Ledger’s run as the Clown Prince of Crime at WrestleMania 25, while he took inspiration from Joaquin Phoenix’s version at last night’s event.
