wXw Event Set For WrestleMania Weekend Has Been Canceled Due To Travel Bans

On the evening of March 11th, 2020, President Donald Trump announced a 30-day travel ban from Europe to the United States which is slated to begin Friday, March 13th, 2020. The ban has been put in place due to the escalation and fear of the spreading of coronavirus aka COVID-19. As a result of this ban, German wrestling promotion, wXw has been forced to cancel their April 2nd event slated for Tampa, Florida.

Due to the US government issuing a 30 day ban for Schengen residents us and our wrestlers will be unable to enter the USA. The event scheduled for April 4th in Tampa is cancelled. Please contact eTix for a full refund.

Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Lio Rush, was set to appear at this event as well. As it pertains to WWE, the city of Tampa will reconvene next week to make a decision on the state of WrestleMania 36 itself.
