WWE superstar, Roman Reigns, is among the talent set to be featured when WWE RAW makes its debut on Netflix on January 6, 2025.
Despite Reigns’ continued affiliation with the SmackDown brand, expectations are that he will begin to increase his appearances on RAW.
Reigns has been closely associated with SmackDown for many years, particularly since his hit return as the Tribal Chief in 2020. SmackDown had solidified its status as the top brand in WWE back in 2019.
A report from WrestleVotes Radio suggests that Reigns might make regular appearances on RAW, starting from next year. His star power is expected to enhance RAW’s status as the main show on Netflix.
The report emphasizes, “We are told the plans as of now, we’ll see Roman Reigns featured on Monday Night Raw and Netflix more so than SmackDown for at least the beginning part of the calendar year. We don’t have confirmation on any official roster move. However, there are plans for WWE’s biggest Raw to be a part of Raw on Netflix, much past episode number one. Okay, so a source added that Netflix knows exactly what Roman Reigns brings to the table as far as viewership and credibility, and they are all for it. So Roman Reigns will be a key part of Monday Night Raw past episode number one throughout the Royal Rumble, you know, and I would imagine all throughout the WrestleMania season.”
A thrilling WarGames match is scheduled for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024, where Reigns will partner with The Usos and Sami Zayn to face Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa.
