The WWE-MLW saga continues and this time Pwinsider has provided some updates on the ongoing lawsuit between the two wrestling companies.
As you may already know, WWE lodged a motion on June 2nd urging for the rescheduling of the impending hearing for the lawsuit from June 15 to July 20. That motion has been dismissed by the honorable court of law.
According to the latest update, MLW’s motion to seal certain proprietary aspects of their information away from public scrutiny was granted by the judicial bench on June 5.
MLW further filed a motion on the same day to remove certain materials submitted by WWE in support of their efforts to dismiss the lawsuit.
Sources suggest that MLW argued the information in question included third-party content that was not adequately verified, such as a purported media release declaring an agreement implemented between Warner Bros. Discovery and AEW for the sum of $240.
Only time will tell if the court will approve or deny the strike of WWE materials.
