WWE has announced the launch of the St. Bonaventure Legacy Championship belts, now accessible in the WWE Shop, as a result of a long-term licensing contract. Adrian Wojnarowski, who serves as the general manager for St. Bonaventure men’s basketball, expressed his views on the championship belts in the statement mentioned below:
“WWE publicized the St. Bonaventure-influenced WWE legacy championship belts on December 12, 2024. These belts, areas per a multi-year licensing deal struck by St. Bonaventure University Athletics and WWE, come with the Bonnies’ official colors and logos.”
“These officially-licensed products are available for pre-booking at WWEShop.com and Fanatics.com. This partnership now puts St. Bonaventure in the esteemed group of institutions like Notre Dame, Michigan, LSU, Texas, Penn State, and Florida, who have WWE legacy title belt partnerships.”
“Potential name image and likeness (NIL) opportunities are included in the partnership for St. Bonaventure’s men’s basketball players and student-athletes.”
Adrian Wojnarowski further expressed, “Our objective is to establish a link between St. Bonaventure athletics and top-tier brands such as WWE. Our fans will adore the Bonnies-inspired championship title belts, and our student-athletes will gain from the opportunities that come from our alliance with WWE.”
“We consider ‘Woj’s intuitive understanding of the fusion of basketball and pop culture a monumental asset. His expertise will help carry St. Bonaventure to unprecedented levels, and we are enthusiastic to be a part of their journey,” stated Nick Khan, WWE President.
“The Legacy WWE title belt highlights custom side plates decked with the recently renewed marks that honor the illustrious tradition of St. Bonaventure athletics.”
