2024 has marked a significant milestone for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), given the remarkable growth and revenue during this period. The enterprise, under the control of Endeavor, has noted a considerable boom in business throughout the year, alongside inking new extensive contracts with numerous talents.
Coming up next month, WWE NXT is going to make a shift from its current platform, the USA Network, to be aired on the CW Network. Moreover, revisions in the brand’s travel agenda have been introduced, with the episodes scheduled for October 1st and 8th set to be staged on the road.
Reports are coming in from Fightful Select that the NXT show slated for November 5th at the WWE Performance Center has been discarded. However, an official reason for this decision has not been declared yet.
Speculations have stirred up a couple of potential explanations. One theory suggests that the show may be relocated to another venue. The other rationale could be a move by WWE to allocate time off to the talent, in line with a similar decision taken earlier this year for the premier Saudi Arabia show, where a double taping was arranged a week in advance to manage travel coordination.
Significantly, the WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view event this year is pencilled in for November 2, just a few days before the now canceled NXT event. Depending on the actual cause for the cancellation, WWE might organize a sequence of tapings before heading to Saudi Arabia.
