A recent WWE live event in the United Kingdom grossed over $1 million from ticket sales in another impressive feat for the company’s new era.
Pollstar Data has revealed that the April 19th live event from London’s O2 Arena drew $1,197,822 USD from sales of 16,342 tickets.
The show saw seven matches including bouts for the Intercontinental, World Heavyweight, and Undisputed WWE Championships.
Cody Rhodes retained his title in the show’s main event. After his match, Rhodes put himself through a table to satisfy the fans’ “We Want Tables” chants.
Rhodes also said that the UK deserves a WrestleMania, echoing comments made by John Cena during Money in the Bank 2023, which was also at the O2 Arena.
