The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that WWE talents have recently developed a better outlook with respect to the company’s cash-rich events in Saudi Arabia.

When WWE first began organizing pay-per-view events in Saudi Arabia, talents were unhappy and resentful about making the trip, especially after the controversial incident several years ago with their plane getting delayed.

WWE talents have reportedly adopted a more positive viewpoint nowadays, and several noted how much they loved traveling to Saudi Arabia for the Night of Champions 2023.

It was specifically pointed out how the female wrestlers got three matches at Night Of Champions 2023, compared to none when WWE first began traveling to KSA in 2018.

The audience was also very enthusiastic this past Saturday, more so than in the past. The negative feelings were reportedly minimal, if any.

The Middle Eastern pay-per-view events are still seen as paid propaganda on the part of Saudi Arabia, but plenty of companies still engage in business with the country, even after the government-ordered murder of American journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
