On Friday, WWE made its return to India with the WWE Superstar Spectacle event at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium (Gachibowli Indoor Stadium), marking the company’s first appearance in the country since 2017. The show exclusively aired in the Indian market.
In the main event, John Cena and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins teamed up to defeat Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci of Imperium.
According to a report from Pwinsider, the WWE crew that attended the event had a challenging travel schedule and had to return to the United States in time for tonight’s RAW.
The report noted, “The trip was pretty rough in that it was in the area of 19 hours flights each way, with the talents landing, going right into media interviews, then performing live and heading right back to the airport for another 19-hour flight.”
It was added that the “atmosphere live was absolutely insane and loud in terms of electricity.”
