WWE lodged an application for a fresh trademark on June 11, 2024, with the US Patent and Trademark Office, intending to secure the name “Talla Tonga.” The legal documents for Goods and Services provide the following interpretation:
“Entertainment services, particularly wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer delivered via broadcast mediums such as television and radio, as well as the internet or commercial online service; offering wrestling news and knowledge through a global computer network; providing data in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; setting up a website dedicated to sports entertainment info; fan club services, specifically, orchestrating sporting events in the sphere of wrestling for wrestling fan club associates; planning social entertainment affairs for enjoyment objectives for wrestling fan club participants; issuing online bulletins in the disciplines of sports entertainment; online periodicals, namely blogs, in the arena of sports entertainment.”
The probability is almost certain that this term will be assigned to a newcomer in The Bloodline troupe. The assumption of this applying to anyone other than a character alongside Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa seems illogical. Given Jacob Fatu’s enduring absence, it’s anticipated that Hikuleo will likely embrace this WWE pseudonym.
Earlier this week, we reported that Hikuleo’s contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling has concluded. His final act for the organization was on June 9th at Dominion, liberating him to join this group in the immediate future.
Previous week on WWE SmackDown, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa obtained their official Bloodline monikers as “The Right Hand Man” and “The Infamous” respectively. Are we about to witness a continuation of this trend come Friday night with an additional member joining this revamped form of The Bloodline?
