The last tour of the WWE superstar, John Cena, is set to begin in the coming year. The retirement tour will take place over 36 distinct dates, featuring in significant events such as WrestleMania 41, 2025’s Elimination Chamber, as well as the Royal Rumble 2025.
Additionally, Cena will make a special appearance on the debut episode of Monday Night RAW broadcasted on Netflix in the first month of 2025.
There has been ongoing chatter among fans around the possibility of Cena beating the existing World Title record. As of now, Cena shares the record with the legendary Ric Flair with a record of holding the title 16 times. If he is successful, this will put Cena in the illustrious category of being a 17-time World Champion.
As reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there have been debates centering around Cena’s potential 17th title victory. The report mentions, “We do know that the idea of Cena challenging one of the two champions, in an effort to have him break Flair’s record is something strongly talked about, including for Mania.”
Multiple existing WWE Superstars have voiced their eagerness to compete with Cena during his last professional wrestling year.
The final showdown featuring Cena is slated to take place in December 2025 in the wrestling ring.
