WWE SmackDown’s New Year’s Day Episode Will Be Live Rather Than Taped
Although New Year’s Day is a major holiday across the world, the WWE Universe will still be putting on a show for fans.
According to a recent report by Post Wrestling, WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown will air a live episode on New Year’s Day, as opposed to a pre-taped show like the company plans to have done for the Christmas episode of SmackDown, which also falls on a Friday this year.
The report mentions that multiple people said that they would be willing to return for a live show on January 1, so it looks as if the company will be moving forward with putting on a show to help kick in the new year.
