WWE SmackDown Viewership Slightly Up For Debut Of Retribution

Friday Night Smackdown Results

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was a big one, and saw a slight rise in viewership as a result, according to new overnight ratings for the show.

According to new information from Showbuzz Daily, this week’s SmackDown saw a slight bump, with 3.3% more people tuning in, as the show averaged 1.956 million viewers on Friday. The show also saw a bump in ratings as the night went on, as its second hour of broadcast saw 1.988 million viewers tune in, compared to the 1.924 million viewers that watched the first hour.

While it was a great week for SmackDown, it wasn’t all rosy. Their numbers in the 18-34 year-old demographic dipped down to .2, while their numbers with the 18-49 stayed the same. Thankfully, these numbers still manage to keep SmackDown on par with many other top network shows, so it’s not all bad for WWE.
