WWE SmackDown Viewership Bounces Back On July 9 After A Record-Low For FOX

The latest overnight ratings numbers are in for WWE Friday Night SmackDown. This week, WWE SmackDown rose in viewership as WWE continued the road to the Money in the Bank pay-per-view and the return to full-time touring next week.

According to SpoilerTV, WWE SmackDown on July 9, 2021, drew 1.881 million viewers, which is up from the 1.741 million viewers drawn last week. As far as demographics go, the 18-49 demographics, this week’s 0.45 rating saw SmackDown as the highest-rated TV show for Friday night.

This week, SmackDown was centered around the continuing rivalry of Edge and Roman Reigns. This week, Edge secured the help of Dominik and Rey Mysterio to combat the newly-united trio of Roman Reigns and Jimmy and Jey Uso. Next week, they will face off in a six-man tag team match.

Next week, WWE SmackDown will finally be back in front of an audience for the go-home show to WWE Money in the Bank.
