The May 3rd episode of WWE SmackDown saw a marginal hike in viewership and ratings compared to the previous week.

WWE SmackDown garnered a 0.60 rating in the key 18 – 49 demographic and drew an audience of 2,148,000 viewers. This represents a 3.5% increase in the ratings and a 0.2% increase in viewership from the previous week’s figures of 0.58 rating and 2,143,000 viewers.

However, despite the improvement in ratings, the show remains the lowest-rated since the episode that aired on March 29 with a similar rating of 0.60.

As for the audience, it is the lowest (apart from the previous week) since the “Best of 2023” episode that aired on December 29 last year.

The May 3rd episode of WWE SmackDown was up against the NBA Playoffs on ESPN, which drew a 0.87 rating and an audience of 2,944,000 for the 7:08 PM game between the Cavs and Magic, as well as a 1.31 rating in the key 18-49 demographic and an audience of 3,902,000 for the LA Clippers vs. Dallas Mavericks game that started at 9:44 PM ET. The NHL Playoffs, on the other hand, garnered a 0.18 rating in the 18-49 demographic and an audience of 621,000 viewers on TNT.

For 2024 to date, WWE SmackDown has an average rating of 0.670 in the 18-49 demographic and an audience of 2,383,000 viewers, compared to a rating of 0.601 and an audience of 2,338,000 for the same period last year.
