WWE SmackDown Opening Segment Went Longer Than Planned, Vince McMahon News

Pwinsider reports The Bloodline Tribal Council segment in the opening segment of Friday’s WWE SmackDown went longer than originally planned, leading to later segments needing to have time cut to fit the broadcast. 

This includes AJ Styles vs. Karrion Kross being cut shorter than planned as well as the segment with Asuka. 

Regarding whether Vince McMahon made changes to the show, Pwinsider was told that “he did not and any changes were minimal as the original plans for the show stayed basically intact with the exception of some time cuts.”
