Shawn Michaels, on his Twitter feed, made it public that Yoshiki Inamura is joining WWE NXT brand. Inamura, a notable talent from Pro Wrestling NOAH, is a strategic addition to the team, but it’s not yet known when he’ll begin to compete. The WWE has engaged in past collaborations with NOAH by featuring the likes of wrestlers AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura at their matches.
Furthermore, in his announcement, Michaels expressed excitement by stating, “I’m excited to welcome @noahghc Wrestler @noahyoshiki to #WWENXT. This hard-hitting young man is going to be a problem for anyone he steps in the ring with. I look forward to growing NXT’s partnership with @noahglobal in the future. #WWENXT”
In another exciting development, former boxer Vicky D’Errico has been contracted by WWE and will serve as a referee for NXT. This news was broken by Referee Darryl Sharma via Twitter. He revealed that D’Errico commenced her training in September and made her debut at a live event on November 2.
In his tweet, Sharma expressed, “Tonight’s #WWENXT live event in Orlando will see the debut of my latest signee – Vicky D’Errico. Vicky was recruited for our WrestleMania Tryouts in Philly, and commenced her training in Sept. Please extend a warm welcome to the former Rough N Rowdy boxing champion @vickyderrico!”
Both these moves are expected to inject fresh energy into WWE NXT, and fans are looking forward to seeing them in action.
