The WWE NXT event, initially slated for October 8 in St. Louis, has been moved due to a less than expected response in ticket sales.
According to reports from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the entertainment program was originally planned to occur at the Enterprise Center. However, a lackluster ticket sale of 2,196 for a facility with a capacity of 14,000 prompted the shift.
The revamped chair is The Factory at the District in Chesterfield, MO, which will present a match between Randy Orton and Je’Von Evans. This space can accommodate up to 2,300 spectators but currently has provisions for 1,715 with 1,129 tickets already bought.
In consideration of the change in stance, WWE is providing refunds for anyone impacted and plans to release the remaining tickets for sale later this week.
