WWE has declared that Joe Tessitore, a popular face known for his work on ESPN, will become a part of the commentary team in the summer, providing play-by-play commentary.
During the Countdown To SummerSlam show held last night, Michael Cole confirmed Tessitore’s upcoming participation in the commentary booth for Monday Night RAW.
Joe Tessitore is scheduled to premiere on RAW, taking place in Denver, Colorado, on the 2nd of September. This corresponds with Cole’s shift to SmackDown, instigated by Pat McAfee’s comeback to College GameDay.
In the reshuffling, Michael Cole is set to form a duo with Wade Barrett on SmackDown, while Joe Tessitore will be working in tandem with Corey Graves on RAW.
