Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder of The Revival have been notably absent from WWE programming in recent weeks. Now, some new information could explain why they’ve been missing. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, the team has removed from the road. “When Fightful reached out to people within WWE, we learned that not only were Revival not figured into the company’s plans, but they were sent home,” wrote Sapp. “‘One in the company said “they’d be here if they could be.'”
Sapp also reports that the duo’s pay has been significantly affected by this change. “Multiple sources within WWE have heard that The Revival either weren’t getting paid, or that it was ‘extremely scaled back’ because they’ve already exceeded their downside guarantees,” writes Sapp. One of Sapp’s sources also states that the Revival have repeatedly asked for their release dating back to 2018.
The Revival’s future with WWE still looks unclear and nothing’s official yet. WrestleZone will continue to provide updates as they become available.
