WWE Reportedly Books Brodus Clay, Cameron For WrestleMania 36 Weekend
Somebody call his momma… Brodus Clay and a Funkadactyl might be making a return in Tampa.
According to a report by PWInsider.com, WWE has booked Brodus Clay (aka Tyrus) and Cameron (Ariane Andrew) for an appearance on WrestleMania weekend in Tampa. It’s unclear what the appearance would entail, with some speculating it could lead to a one-off Funkadactyls reunion, but it’s worth noting that Cameron is already scheduled to be in town for her in-ring return at Effy’s Big Gay Brunch on Saturday, April 4.
Clay left WWE in 2014 and has worked as Tyrus since then, making appearances for TNA / IMPACT Wrestling and on the indies. He has also appeared as a contributor on The Greg Gutfeld Show and other programs on Fox News, including his own show Nuff Said. He is currently involved in a lawsuit brought against himself and FOX by former host Britt McHenry, who accused him of sexual harassment in 2019.
PWInsider also reported yesterday that JBL, Hornswoggle, Santino Marella and Darren Young were scheduled to be in town for WrestleMania, but their roles are also unconfirmed.
