WWE Releases Two NXT UK Referees, Joe Coffey Suspended
UPDATE: Wrestling Observer is reporting that NXT UK referee Chris Roberts has also been released due to Speaking Out allegations. Meanwhile, NXT UK Superstar Joe Coffey has been suspended as they investigate the claims made against him.
NXT UK referee Joel Allen is the latest release from WWE’s developmental UK brand.
PWInsider reported the release earlier today. The referee joins Jack Gallagher, El Ligero, and Travis Banks as WWE talent that has been let go during the Speaking Out movement.
As you can see below, Allen appeared in a recently resurfaced video with David Starr making inappropriate jokes and comments.
