WWE continues to make some changes at its highest levels. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, top level executive John Brody has reportedly been released from his contract. “John Brody, who held the position of Executive Vice President, Global Head of Sales and Partnerships and Head of International, exited the company earlier this week,” Johnson wrote. He was reportedly released on Wednesday or Thursday.
Since a shifting power structure made Stephanie McMahon Brody’s direct superior, Johnson states that several members of Brody’s team were eventually released after they were initially furloughed.
Additionally, as Johnson reports, Brody may be the first domino to fall in a series of changes. “PWInsider.com is also hearing there were additional Executive terminations this week and are currently working to confirm those departures,” Johnson writes.
WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
