The upcoming episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, slated for August 12, 2024, will be held at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. While it marks the return of the show to the USA Network following its two-week stint on the SyFy network, it remains the premier programming event for WWE.

An intriguing face-off between Sami Zayn and Bron Breakker for the fiercely contested Intercontinental Championship is shaping up. A backstage conversation between Zayn and Jey Uso recently unveiled that Zayn had negotiated a rematch following a discussion with Raw General Manager, Adam Pearce. The rematch, however, includes a fresh stipulation – it will be a 2-out-of-3 falls match serving as the ultimate tiebreaker for this ongoing feud.

Equally engaging will be the No. 1 Contender’s match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. This lineup sees Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky of Damage CTRL squaring off against Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. The winning pair will secure a potential title match against the reigning champions, The Unholy Union, composed of Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn, who recently defended their crowns from Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill on Friday Night SmackDown, with some assistance from Blair Davenport.

This matchup results from weeks of tense encounters and backstage brawls involving Damage CTRL and Sonya Deville’s trio, further fuelled by an attack on Dakota Kai by Deville, Stark and Baszler.

The next episode of WWE Monday Night Raw is also expected to delve into the series of events that unfolded in tonight’s episode, such as Bronson Reed’s assault on Seth Rollins, CM Punk’s escalating feud with Drew McIntyre, and Damian Priest alongside Rhea Ripley’s quest for avenging The Judgment Day.
