WWE RAW News – Cody Rhodes Challenges Brock Lesnar For WWE Backlash

Last week on RAW after WrestleMania 39, Brock Lesnar turned heel with a surprise attack on Cody Rhodes ahead of their scheduled tag team main event against The Bloodline. No sooner had the ring introductions been completed than Lesnar destroyed Rhodes with several F-5s and steel steps.

On Monday night’s episode of RAW, Rhodes cut a promo addressing Lesnar’s heel turn. The American Nightmare noted that he has switched his focus entirely to Lesnar and challenged The Beast to a match at WWE Backlash. Lesnar has yet to respond to Rhodes’ challenge.

WWE Backlash takes place on May 6th from San Juan, Puerto Rico and airs live on Peacock and the WWE Network.
