During the most recent WWE SmackDown episode, an altercation between Randy Orton and Kevin Owens took place. In the kerfuffle, Owens executed a piledriver move on Orton – a move officially banned in WWE for over a decade.
The incident led to Orton being removed from the arena on a stretcher, with no clear information on the date of his return to WWE currently available.
On Saturday, WWE’s official Twitter account shared the update that Orton had been diagnosed with cervical cord neurapraxia, as a part of the ongoing story plot.
The tweet read: “BREAKING: After last night’s brutal attack by @FightOwensFight on #SmackDown, @RandyOrton has been diagnosed with a cervical cord neurapraxia. There is no timetable for his return. pic.twitter.com/6VhQQyTxpm” – WWE (@WWE) November 9, 2024
