WWE commemorated the late-Jay Briscoe throughout last night’s episode of SmackDown on FOX.
Briscoe passed away previously today in an auto accident near his house in Laurel, Delaware. He was 38.
On SmackDown, Michael Cole provided acknowledgements to Jay’s household and acknowledged his tag group with his sibling Mark. He stated,
“We wish to send our acknowledgements to the household of Jay Briscoe. Jay died all of a sudden previously today. He and his bro Mark formed among wrestling’s terrific tag groups, and numerous in WWE are paying their aspects and sending their acknowledgements.”

After Briscoe’s death on Tuesday, Booker T likewise provided acknowledgements throughout today’s episode of WWE NXT.

AEW/ROH held a homage program to Briscoe today though Warner Bros. Discovery avoided the program from being aired on television.
