WWE is offering mental health counseling to its performers.
On Thursday, WWE sent a company-wide text to the talent roster, offering a reminder that counseling services are available if they feel that they are in need of them. The message reads (via PWInsider.com):
“As a reminder to our Talent, if you are dealing with a difficult personal matter and would like to speak with someone to get the support you need, please don’t hesitate to contact [Counseling Company Name Withheld] at [NUMBER DELETED] or WWE Medical.”
The company began the initiative in June 2020. At that time, Vince McMahon sent an email to all WWE employees and wrestlers offering mental health counseling, and also addressed the importance of diversity in the workplace.
